just got a CLI from NFCU three days ago and currently 7k from the 80k limit, thinking of applying for the rest on the NFCU Black card(flagship) within a week or so, was just told by NFCU the application wait times(90 days I think) to increase approval odds, with an outstanding credit file(7% dti, 1% util out of 107k limit, excellent income, scores over 750), do i still run the risk of being denied?? what will trigger an automatic approval of an online application once you complete it?? I was able to get the CLI the other day with my files being locked and frozen, thanks!

For starters, Navy doesn't care that much about your income. One of my friends makes about 35k a year and sits at the 80k max.
Secondly your post is slightly confusing. Are you saying you are 7k away from the the 80k max on your Flagship card? Or are you saying you got a credit limit increase on another card and are 7k away from the total aggregate limit?
If you got an increase on a different card with Navy 3 days ago and you're within the 181 day mark on your Flagship then yes it'll be denied.
However if you're at 181 days since you're last increase on your flagship then it'll likely be approved.
Finally, frozen or not, Navy doesn't require hard pulls for credit limit increases initiated from the mobile app or web app.
you are confused, I was approved no problem within minutes but thanks for your input!
congrats on the CLI!!
