barclays ring approved!!!

Hey fellow forum members. I applied last night for the barclays ring mastercard, I was initially declined but after a 3 minute phone call to recon I was approved for $2000 .  Transunion fico score 676, 1 unpaid 6 year old collection for $900,14 percent uti,and Aaoa 1 year 2months.  Well hopefully this helps anyone thinking of applying for this card.  GOOD LUCK!

WOW Congrats!! I may just have to pull the trigger on this card. Was going to wait.

I say go for it baller as long as your utilization is low, and no recent delinquencies/derogatory you should be fine. The nice lady at recon only had 1 question and that was about my amex reporting a $1000 balance on a 3000 limit. I just told her I have 15 months no Apr and that I will be paying it off by the next statement cycle.

Not much for benefits other than 8% and that's why I got it. Mine started at $1k and got a CLI every 6 months but didn't get one at 2 years. It seems strange as I just got auto CLI on my US Bank cards that are much more conservative and they were $4k and $4.5k.
