drain pipes shot = $21K CSP!

A $ 2100 job to replace a single line grew into a $6.5K re-pipe this morning.  Welcome to Beverly Hills, should have moved the flashy cars lol.  Anyway I am a points junkie and could not talk sense to myself – called up the local chase banker and had him look at my profile and there was a lonely csp dying to be taken home – bang, out of the garden, into my car and in <15min he was spinning the roulette wheel -  $21K @ 16.49.  I thought he was kidding me…so much for my theory of needing 6 cuts between cards – 2 cuts on my csr and I was @ 6/24.

After I get the bonus and it posts I was going downgrade it to a sapphire, pc to a fu and roll my current fu cl into it and close it as its $6K @ 23.24.  after I distribute the cl my csr will be $30K and my fu will be at $11K.  got the 55k with adding an au.  Pretty frigging excited I tell you.  Pedfed just doubled me a few weeks ago so this just adds to the cool vibe.  The odd thing is no hp as of yet, the last few times it was instant. I often wonder how much limit matching happens behind the scenes – I did a combine on my cap1s last year, my penfed and nfcu are decent.  btw my ex is awful right now, 678 because of a car loan and lease return late last year.  chase internal scoring strikes again maybe.  Most of this credit is a total black hole to me but I am glad when it turns out like this.

Thanks. Sorry, just saw this today (2/7). The Freedom Unlimited was, what I call, a real Chase Manhattan (before Chase and Bank One merged in 2004) Platinum MasterCard. In about 2011 Chase sent me a Slate MasterCard as a replacement. Then in October 2015 they sent me a Visa Slate as they no longer offered MasterCards. I was kind of ticked about that so I wanted to cost them some money (I know, I know, passive agressive) so I had them change it into a Freedom Visa even though I already had a Freedom. I was contenplating closing it because I no longer needed two Freedoms and that is when the new Freedom Unlimited came out, so I jumped on it. I was using my Freedom Unlimited for 1.5% and Freedom for rotating like you said, but ever since September I switched to my NFCU Cash Rewards card as I am thinking about going to NFCU for a mortgage; wanted to build up my relationship with them.

CLOC I had used in the past when I was not earning as much as I am now. That CLOC saved my behind a few times due to an error in my math LOL or because I was playing the game of needing to pay something but I did not get paid for another day or two. I have not used it now in 3 years this March but they do not seem to mind. The PLOC...that was kind of this forums fault I like to say....back in 2014 when Nasa FCU was all the rage here, someone posted a comment to the effect of "hey you guys should check out Nasa's PLOC rate, its 8% (or something)" which got me thinking about PLOCs, so I looked at all the banks and the credit unions and found that my credit union SSFCU offers one of the best PLOC rates around. So I decided to go for it along with the PenFed Promise card at the same time. I have only used it a few times to be honest. It was one of those things that can happen when watching these forums too much LOL  Points program...I am not sure what you mean. I do have MR and UR points through Amex and Chase, respecfully. Curiosity is good!
