300k income not including stock options. WAY WAY higher if we count stock options.

Depending on his banking experience with Chase that is certainly a nice start but based in income could be argued is a tad low.

The Venture line? Well given when the Venture express took root here there was some people getting $20K+ with honestly just mediocre to mediocre+ scores.

For what your Dad is knocking back come back with a Palladium 100K story or such.

Since you're over 21, you can include his income on your applications.

Wow times have changed. My Father would never tell me what his CL was nor would I ever ask because I knew what the answer would be "NO! None of your business" lol.

Same goes for me and my Daughter, We can't be Best Friends because I'm her Parent.

This.

I've been quite surprised by the number of kids on here discussing their parents' finances. Even now I wouldn't dream of asking my folks about their credit limits. And my daughter stays in her lane too. I don't think she knows how much money I make. And she's an adult.

Kind of. If he uses his dad's income to pay his bills then yes. If not then no. Read your underlined statement all the way through again.

hes a exec its public knowledge, even if he wouldn't tell me, but he does. I wouldn't have to search so long to find out what he makes.

Re: my dad makes me jealous

300K fetched him 30K limits. Nothing too exciting to be honest. I have seen people getting 50K CLs in the first shot.

Re: my dad makes me jealous

Congratulations to your dad!

I knew back in the 90s that I wanted a Discover card because my Dad was paying bills one day, and I caught a glimpse of his $25k limit. I was about 14-15 at the time, and I thought that was so amazing! ❤️
