...ok, NOW I Enter the Garden (BB&T Bright Approval)

So I see why it's so difficult to garden, saw all of those BB&T offers floating around, and figured, I'm in the service area, why not?

Went for the Bright card, since my travel spend is gonna be on the CSP and I don't drive anywhere, so the rewards card wasn't too appealing to me.

Approved, SL of $3500

DPs

FICO 8 scores: Equifax - 713, Transunion - 699, Experian - 701

Utilization

Cap 1 Quicksilver - $696.15/$8500 - 8.2%

Chase Amazon - $0/$2500 - 0%

Last late was Feb 2018, bunch of lates on my reports, all missed student loan payments, mostly from 2015 or so.

AoYA - 5 months

AoOA - 14yrs

AAoA - 8yrs 2 months

Income sufficient to support these limits.  Please let me know if you want any additional DPs!

Will update if I see a HP, but I kept reading this was a SP on Equifax.  So now, to the garden for me!

Re: ...ok, NOW I Enter the Garden (BB&T Bright Approval)

Yea student loans are the ABSOLUTE worst. Sent multiple GW letters, they all quote the same thing back to me lol. Not to mention, if you've had deferments/forbearances, you have to make sure you're tracking your credit, because they'll randomly incorrectly report your payment status for the month. Just the worst.  To be fair, I was just being reckless and not paying them whenever I needed an extra couple hundred bucks, now that I understand the importance of just paying your bills on time (lol), I won't be missing any more payments, so just have to make sure they're reporting everything correctly.

I was pre-qualified for the 3 personal cards, just grabbed the one with the lowest APR since I already have a travel card to meet a SUB for and the cash rewards card wouldn't really help me much.
