Last week I got approved to refinance my auto loan through state employees credit union which shocked me as I'm only 10 months post chapter 7 discharged. I went ahead and applied for a visa credit card through them over the weekend expecting to get denied and boom I was approved for 3k with a 7.75 interset rate. I'm still in shock they gave me the credit limit I requested. I'm thinking now maybe I should have asked for more but I'm happy with what I got considering. The card doesn't come with any rewards but will definitely help me in the rebuilding process.
