I think you might be able to get 10 percent without the red card on veterans day only, you might have to call your local store and ask.

By chance i found out about this discount because last year i finally sent away to the dept of veterans affairs to get a vic. many retailers near me offer a discount if you show the vic at the register, the one i use the most is home depot 10 percent off anytime, anyday, all year round. target is only veterans day and they dont advertise it , i had to do research to find out they offered it.

You can also get the discount with the Target Debit card if you cant get or dont want the credit card.
