ups - lowest CL ever for the Chase Amazon Prime Rewards VS

After  gardening in 2017 and missing the old Sallie Mae with 5% for Amazon  I decided on 01JAN18  to app for the Chase Amazon VS. Similar to my previous 4 apps with Chase  it was not an auto approval and I did get the dreaded 30 days message again. It was a double pull on EX and EQ. Happy it lead to an approval without recon but a bit disappointing to get  2,3K CL.  For the moment I will leave it there and see if maybe Chase decides to auto CLI.  I know this is wishful thinking but if needed I can always move CL around from the 4 other Chase cards with much higher limits.  It looks that I have possibly reached maximum exposure with Chase.  Interesting to see VS from Chase with less than 5K limit.

If I recall correctly last year when this card was the flavor of the month some people were approved for as low as $500

Mine started at 2k

Congrats! Chase Amazon is one of those rare every limit is a VS. Abit confused by the title thread but glad to see they at least approved you and you can make it higher with your other limits

Congrats!  As another poster replied, 5% is 5%. 

Chase does tend to grant CLIs based on usage, and the Amazon VS also offers rewards on stores other than Amazon.
