Anytime OP.  There is life after adverse action, and while the latter may have had unfortunate consequences, it doesn't mean the rest of your Comenity accounts will need to be closed.  Just tread carefully and you'll be fine.

yankees992012 I believe you can open a new card with Capital One every 6 months. I don't think they have a limit on how many products you own. I have seen people on here with quite a few although you would have to ask around to see if they have a total exposure cap.

+1 @kdm. I had 1 CC for 9 years prior to finding this forum in 2016.

Getting a HP is bad enough but made worse by getting approved and then the card is kaput! YIKES!
