$350 Amex Delta credit - how to spend before EOY

I am not sure I'll fly again before the new year, and I have a $250 Delta incidentals credit on one Amex card and $100 on another Amex card. I have seen references to using these credits for Delta gift cards, but with caveats that Amex may be cracking down on that. Any suggestions for how to use these credits before I lose them? Thanks.

Unless your flying somewhere, no. You will lose it. 
My suggestion is, if I were you, I'd just take an inexpensive weekend trip somewhere (of course, I'm the type of person who will make a mileage run if needed). 🤷🏽‍♀️
