I've seen 9,10 months unsecure on their own. Because of your other limits, you need more history at $5k. Just wait it out if you're able.

No. If you can wait great, if you need the money, at least wait 2 more months. Don't apply for more cards until that 5k card reported for 6 or more months, so you can get better limits. Also go with cards that can grow with SP.

Yes my DW put 5k after the 6th statement and they graduated her card at 9th month.
