Where did you see that? I went looking for anything that said that last night and didn’t find it but it was right before bed so I only spent a few minutes doing so.

No derogs, but tons of inquiries and heavy credit-seeking behavior. In March of 2019, I had no open accounts, a charge-off, two collections, and scores in the low 500s. What I call the "thick build method" worked for me, but may not work for every situation.
Cards

Authorized user / Corporate / Auto loan / Personal loan

Card CLs total $85,100, not counting the AU card. The AU card brings the total to $110,100. In March 2019, card CLs totaled $0.

Closed but still on reports: ExxonMobil, $950, 10/08-02/11 (Equifax only) | Citi secured, $200, 04/19-09/19 | Capital One secured, $300, 04/19-08/19 | My Jewelers Club, $5,000, 05/19-08/19 | Green Dot Primor, $300, 05/19-08/19 | Self Lender secured $500 loan, 04/19-01/20 | Unsecured personal loan from Coastal, $1,000, 06/19-08/19.

Dang, that’s a pretty fantastic deal. It’s a good thing I don’t have this card anymore. Saves me from spending money on unnecessary stuff from Amazon lol

Discover It: 19.7k
Amex ED: 18k
Citi DC: 6.7k
Citi Rewards+: 3.6k
Bank Americard: 2.8k

Yeah if I wasn’t about to charge $2500 to help my roommate get custody of her kid, I would be blowing a lot of money on Amazon too.

Not sure I would go that far!    Yes, it's an extra 20% back in rewards, but it's only a ~1% drop in effective price   (you now pay 94% rather than 95%.   Outside of credit cards, I don't think we would be saying "Wow, a 1% off sale!!!!!"

That’s 6% off of discounts that are already 10%+ from normal though. Prime Day sales can be very nice.
