6 Months Post BK...wait or add now?

I am at the start of the credit rebuilding process with a discharged BK only 6 months old, and I wish I had found this board before applying for two cards.

So far I have a Cap 1 Platinum(300 CL approved 3/12 and a SHOW MC 300 CL but 75 AF approved 5/12. The SHOW MC I probably will never use as the interest (35.5 APR) is horrible. Ive used the Cap 1 and paid it off, and according to Credit Karma my score there is 604.  Should I wait at least 6 months-1yr to add anything else?

Note - I had also applied back in 3/12 for a Orchard Bank MC but was declined, I had included them in the discharged bk.

First fully understand that the scores you see from Karma are known as FAKO scores.  Your real FICO scores could be much higher or even much lower.

First, I would get my TU and EQ FICO scores from here, and then perhaps wait 6 more months.

5/2012: 560 credit scores across the board
12/2014: 750+
3/2017: 780+
11/2019: 833
2/2023: Experian via Chase United Explorer CC pull - 891
