7 to 10 day period?

I just applied for a citi forward card. I got the 7 to 10 day waiting message. Should I assume that I will be declined?

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

Assuming is never a good thing to do.

People have been approved with the 7-10 day and others have been denied with the 7-10 day notice. Check your application status online if you can, if not call in and check your application status.

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

It was declined, due to one baddie on my EQSmiley Sad UGH!!! I feel like I am going to be stuck with these rebuilder cards forever. This is so frustrating. I have to keep paying af's even after my reports have come so far.

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

It depends on how old the baddie is, and how derogatory the baddie is.

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

Sorry you were denied.

What CC's do you have now?

Secured or unsecured?

CL on the cards?

UTIL on the cards?

Date opened the cards?

INQ's on reports in last 12 months?

What negatives are reporting?

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

IMO your credit profile does not look bad at all.

One 30 day late 6 years ago I wouldn't think would have such a negative impact under manual review.

Did you just check your application status when you called or did you attempt a recon also? (Recon will get a manual review, instead of computer generated)

Is the late showing on all 3 CR's or just EQ?

Re: 7 to 10 day period?

I just checked the status. The number listed in the backdoor thread didn't say recon. Do I just call and say I would like a recon? It is showing on all three, but she said they pulled EQ
