Re: A long-winded post about Navy Federal followed by seven questions.

When I joined NFCU and applied for my first card with them. I was approved but not happy with my credit limit.

I sent them a message through the online system, they requested my last two paystubs.

I submitted them and they approved me for the amount I had requested.... which was $10k

@dodfire

How exactly do you send a message through online banking?

Click on the my messages tab and send a message.

Dodfire how long did it take to get a response? I emailed them Thursday. Anxiously checking my account for anything new but nothing yet.

It took about 24 hours for me to get a response. But that was during the week. I am sure you will probably hear something on Monday.

Did they send you a message back or did they call?

They sent a message back. I was able to attach my paperwork to the email.

Re: A long-winded post about Navy Federal followed by seven questions.

I asked them a question via secure message a couple weeks ago and we had quite a long exchange, all via message.

I must say, I've been with a few banks and the customer service at Navy Federal continues to blow me away. That is a large part of the reason I will continue to bank with them when I move, even the the nearest branch will be about an hour's drive.

I agree, they have impressed me also.

I think if you treat them well they will reward you.
