Pretty excited as I first logged onto my Walmart account to see if I'd be offered a Discover upgrade...No dice. Decided to log on to my AE account and boom, "Congratulations, we really like you and want to offer you an upgrade to the American Eagle Visa product." Popped in my income (just got a raise this week so that helps), and they gave me a $2500 limit. Ohhhhhhhh joy!!!
Quick question though...Does this mean I have two accounts now vs one? I must have taken too long to read the final screen after they told me what my limit is. I got to the part that said, you can continue to use your card until your new one arrives, we'll send you and email yada yada....
***Just got the answer to my question in the email they just sent. Old account will close once I activate the new one.
When did you open your store card?

Thanks! I didn't see that upgrade coming. LOL
I'm starting to think that they did an account review and saw that I'd axed my A&F card and wanted to reward me. LOL Preppy clothes wars!!! Classic stuff.
Congrats on the upgrade!! Just curious, was your spending on your store card like a certain amount a month or year? Like with Macy's I know if you spend more than like $600 or so in a time, they keep upgrading you.
Congratulations!
