AKC Visa card and pet insurance?

Has anyone with this card used it to pay for pet insurance? Did it code for 3% rewards for pet insurance? Has anyone used it for Nationwide Pet Insurance? Thanks!

all depends how the MCC codes.. if it codes as insurance it wouldn't get the 3%.  it would have to code as Vet or something similiar;  I suppose you could call insurance company and ask how or if they know the mcc code... As sure AKC has about 4-5 (just a guess) codes that is accepted for the 3%

Care credit for promo financing you mean on say pet insurance?  If so said pet insurance company would have to take care credit card and offer the promo as well as they pay the interest free period.   Most pet insurance companies are underwritten by bigger insurance companies and just a subsidiary to them, so my guess would pretty surely be a no on pet insurance unless it is a wellness program through the vets office then both AKC and Care Credit would most likely work, but not necessarily on the extended 0% payment for care credit.

Okay, thanks....our Vet does take Care Credit but I never thought of Pooch Ins. until this post.  Will ask to see, if not, might have DS app the AKC card in the future.
