AMEX BCE/ Amazon

So I'm in my Amex account and looking at credit card offers from Amex. I'm getting the BCE. It shows 10% for Amazon purchases for the first 6 months and 100 back for the first 1000 spent.
Last year I used my Amazon a lot received almost 300 in a statement credit that was at the 5%.
I'd like to cash in on this deal. Also would the deals be good together? Example I purchased an item for 4000 I'd receive the 10% plus the 100 even tho it was spent all at Amazon?
So it would be pretty much a 300$ savings on a 4000$ purchase.
Also is it a pretty solid offer?

I'm also worried the barclay incident will cause a denial. That individual card is sitting at 85% until it updates. It is paid off.

I have seen 100/1,000, 150/500 and 250/1000 plus amazon offers with BCE.

Try at other times, browsers, IPs, private/incognito mode. I just used private window and got 150/500 + 200 amazon.

Yes, if you get the card and use it only for Amazon on a $4,000 purchase, you will get $100 (or $150, $250) + $200 back and I guess 1% back from the extra $2,000.

I was just approved on the 24th for a BCE with $250/$1000 spend and 10% cash back on Amazon and 0%APR.

I'm very happy!
