looks like I am pre-qualified for a new offer that is 4x the bonus points they advertise for this card
Funny, Traveling is not my thing; but I am going out of town for a few days in December and I dont' have a real AmEx. Not that I care, really. But 30k points converts to $400 if applied to travel related costs.
But, I did recently acquire the Fidelity-FIA Rewards Card, which has some AmEx affiliation, but not Centurion (I dont' really understand)
So, I'll call and see if I'm eligible for the 30k bonus on Blue Sky because it says "may not be eligible for offer if recently been approved for another product by us" (Paraphrasing)
On a side note, I received that Fidelity card today and an explanation of why they reduced one BofA credit line in order to fund it, I was happy to see my Fico was holding up at 739... but then ut made me wonder why $26k would be my total Limit with BofA... and futhermore, why Walmart Discover only gave me $800. Well, room to grow.

That worked out well.
Very nice lady. They paired me with a Southerner. Roll Tide!
I'm in the club, lol. $400 signup was too much to resist, even if it is my 7th card this year
She said that Fidelity Rewards card does not disqualify me for this offer
My wife received the same offer. Seems silly for her not to apply. She is only on 4-5 CC accounts, 3 over 10 yrs old.
Yeah.

congratulations! That's a very big bonus for this card! FYI, fidelity is a BofA card, not an Amex card. Amex serves only as a payment progressing network for this card, just like for thousands of other cards.
This was the same targeted offer that got me to join AmEx. I bought a $500 plane ticket, received a $400 statement credit before I even had to pay the bill. Not bad.

"pre ASA", but working in the field for over 10 years. Just lost all steam to complete exams several years ago. That has recently been reversed and I'm working through the FAP at this time
cheers

Make sure you pass the assessments at first try to not waste time. Keep FAP-ping and good luck!
Amex sent me one pre-approved application, before I make the decision to apply I read every single review about this credit card, sounded good for me so I gave it a try. Once applied from the internet I was approved in 60 seconds but they don't tell you for how much you are approved by that time. You have to wait till your credit card arrives and there you are going to see your credit limit. I received my Blue Sky like in 5 days with the surprise that they approved me $25,000.00 my credit score is 738, credit history with no inquiries and bad history. I was surprised. The next day I bought me a vacation package for me and my family to New York to spend New Year there for $1980 taking advantage of their offer for 30,000 points and no interest for 15 months, in that way I will use these points for my next two vacations next year. The offer was if I spend $500 or more in 3 months or less, 30,000 credit point will be accredited for me. I can tell you, this is a good credit card deal. Highly recommended.
Got this offer a few months ago but when I read that not eligible part if you have applied for an other Amex product I tossed it.... not sure if it means that when you have an Amex you will never get any sign up bonus for any other cards ?

Criteria vary by lender. You really can't compare credit offerings from one to another that way.
