Thanks guys, your responses were very, very helpful.

Looks like either the Clear or the Costco AMEX for me!

You're very welcome.

Be aware that the Costco Amex is reputedly one of the toughest Amex cards to get.

LOL Smiley Very Happy

Sounds like someone I know. Smiley Happy

Yeah there are a few more I want, but I'm done for a while.  I've said that before, but I really mean it this time. Smiley Tongue The Citi card I just got gives me 5% on everyday purchases and 3% on everything else for the first two years, so it would be silly for me to get anything else in the meantime and not milk this one for everything it's worth.

That's why I pushed back my plan for Blue Sky from Jan 2009 to Jan 2010.

Wow-super rewards! I would say this card gives you a great reason not to apply for another for at least two years. Hey by then you will also be inquiry free!!

Yep!  Granted, those rewards are in the form of ThankYou points and not cash back, but I redeem my points for gift cards for things I'd buy anyway, like gas cards, for example, so it all works out the same.

Unless some card comes along offering 5% on everything all the time with no catch, I think I'm set for a while. Smiley Wink

Sometimes the whole "Everyday Expenses" category is so limited it makes it not even worth it. I noticed that with the Blue Cash which is why I went with the normal Blue card.

It typically means gas stations, grocery stores, and drugstores.

Is your 5 percent capped or any other sort of catch? That card sounds better and better with each post.
