auto shopping isn't looked too harshly on because they know out of the 5+ inquires only 1 new account arose from it and you were rate shopping

i called EX last month they said they will remove 1 on the 29th so i will only have one left and be north of 700 and when my last 2  new accounts hit 6 months i will app a delta gold hopefuly get my foot in door.

well you have good scores don't don't settle on the delta to "get your foot in the door" if it doesn't meet your spend habits. most of their charge cards are easier than their revolvers. get what you want. it's your credit and your spend so don't settle. amex isn't the "prestigious" lender they were before 2010 so it's not that surprising to see young people with less than decent credit and low spend sporting an amex
