It all depends on who you transfer them to and what types of reservations you make with the airline points afterwards.  Actually 100K MR points can be worth a lot more than $2K if you book business or first class seats.  If with the miles you have after you transfer them you can book a $3K flight then the points are worth that, $3K.  I recently booked two flights to Sydney Australia using Virgin America points that I had from transferring Amex MR points and with the price of the flights, my value for 100K MR points was over $4K.  That's why I tell anyone thinking of applying for Amex cards with MR points, Chase UR Points, Citi TY points to thoroughly review the rewards programs for these cards so that you can make an intelligent decision about whether to apply for the card in the first place.  Far too many people here apply for these travel cards without the first clue how to use the rewards program and they end up with a useless card.

omg I have been checking Amex site hoping for anything higher than the standard to jump on. You have to apply and keep everyone updated on if it was legitimate or at least honored if it wasn't. I am off to check their website now!

Where's the link to this offer?  I can't get the Everyday card to show up even if I lie about my income. Smiley Wink

Yeah, that's ridiculous. And here I was happy that I got a 25k MR offer for the EDP when the norm was 15k.. lol

Re: AMEX Everyday 100k Bonus?

Confirmed glitch. 25k for Everyday and 100k for Platinum. Not too surprised.

Someone posted an offer for 50K MR points yesterday for the ED card and that was by far the largest I've seen.  100K? That's beyond fantastic for that card and if real, I'd jump all over it in a heartbeat.  Does she have any other Amex cards?

It is strange that there's nothing for the Platinum card and that 100K MR/$3K spend is usually what you might see for the Platinum

That was me.  I got a target offer in the mail, for the EDP card.

I got approved for 6k.  And this is after 1 month of using my first AMEX card, BCE.
