I haven't even been able to find a semi-working AMEX preapproval check until today, now there are two links with submittable forms:

https://www304.americanexpress.com/secure/my-special-offers%20?iframe=true&width=100%&height=100% (hadn't worked for me previously, worked today)

They only worked for me in the sense that they offered possible cards, not preapprovals. The first offered the Platinum Card, Premier Rewards Gold, and Blue Cash Everyday. The second offered the Starwood Preferred Guest.

Even if it's shooting me down right now, I'm happy to see this feature available.

the first link didnt really do anything for me. but the second one had me put my info in and like 2 mins later i got an invatation to apply for the prg get 25k points after 2k spent in 3 months. Im guessing thats nothing special

The "Invitation to apply" on the second link also has "Sorry we are unable to find any existing offers for you at this time." above it for me. I'm assuming you're seeing the same thing.

25k is what they offered on the "We're sorry we couldn't find a special offer for you. But based on your interests, we think you might like the following Cards:" page I got for the first link.

My understanding is that the PRG has had lower, but that people have also received 50k offers and 75k offers.
