AMEX SITE ISSUES PAYMENTS MISSING

I just checked as i always do on my tradleines and payemts , which was a paymet yesterday showing processing and today asking me for a payment on my rose gold card. No payment exsist at all.. Called and they said no issue and payment in there end... Something strange and concerned nothing major happens ! Keep a eye on your acounts !!!

Bear in mind that although under ordinary circumstances payments tend to post fairly quick (depending on the timeframe when submitted), once a payment is submitted online, a disclosure is always provided that states the following.

"Allow 24-36 hours for your payment to reflect online"

So, this is to be expected. Plus, a confirmation usually follows once it's submitted.

UPDATE! 

Looks like after my call and discussion withe there tech side it seems to be updated ! 

I know recently there has been some post about glitches in Amex but I had not experienced them, till today..

I am aware of the message as it was there yesterday , but nothing today as well the auto line said if I wanted to make a payment as it was due! 

So I think a Major Glitch was in process and I hope resolved .. Thanks for your input

I don't think there was a glitch.  I think Amex, for whatever reason, took a bit longer to process the payment.  They were still within their processing window when it finally posted.

Are you waiting until the payment due date to try to post a payment?

Update : There was a IT glitch with Online and Auto Pay and was resolved end of that day!

This is normal, I noticed it months ago. It happens when the payment status is changing from processing to completed.
