How many cards can i apply for and just get hit one hard inq?

They say it depends on how you apply, online or via phone but usually its one inquiry per product type, charge/credit but I've heard of people getting away with credit/charge app in the same day equally one hard pull... I'm intending on doing exactly that with amex in December.

From my reading, it's variable. I just applied last week. I got one charge on the phone and one credit card online, both instant approvals with 1 EX pull. But others have had 2 pulls. I would apply when you don't have many EX pulls and can absorb 2 inq without problem. Good luck!

I think as many said, if they are both done online so then it's 1 inq in one day.

I got 1 EX hard pull from 2 apps on the same day, about 1 hour apart.  Both approvals.
