I was sort of like that with PenFed's cash rewards card, LOL! I took a long, hard look at my credit and figured getting aproved wouldn't happen until next year. Next year I won't need them and they would only be useful now for a balance transfer. I decided to move on.
I have a Chex Systems entry from US Bank from about 3 years ago that I have paid off... Do you think this would be a prohibiting factor to getting a card like a zync?

And TeleCheck too.
I wonder how accurate this really is... Do they pull Chex Systems every time? Or is it caused by something else on your report.

I can assure you its very accurate. I have been dealing with it for years everytime I apply with AMEX.
They said it was part of their scoring model.
So I assume you can have 800 FICO's and still get bagged.
If you think about it, its probably a good idea for them. You dont want to give a credit card to a person that thinks they have money, just because there is checks in the check book LOL
That would be my ex DW, bless her heart
