AMEX decline - BCE - move to Green?

So I was denied on BCE yesterday and am unable to pull the actual "decision" up online - their system seems to be not responding.

I received the Discover IT card with a 6k limit last week which that pull dropped my score 7 points.

Should I try for the Green Charge to get my foot in the door (hopefully) or wait for the 6k limit to appear on my CR?

Current/ GOAL:
EX: 681(lender pull) / 700
EQ: 677 / 700+
TU: 604 / 670+

Sorry for the decline. You could call and ask them the reason over the phone or wait until you receive their letter. What's your AAOA? Do you know if they pulled all 3 bureaus?

Oh, welcome to the forum!

I suggest Recon as well.  You are correct in that Green (and other AX Charge cards) are easier to get approved for than its Revolver products.

I recommend waiting for 31 days... as if you apply for Green right now, the application will be cancelled by their system.  You may not re-apply within the next 30 days with Amex, due to their internal system.

Yea u can only apply for Amex every 30 days. If your discover is reporting by then, don't apply. Wait till the discover account is >3 months
