Well I'd ask for a CLI anyway ~ chances are they'll throw you something even if they don't bump you to 3X.

Yep, after a year it should be a lot lower, my mum card got lowered after just two mounts.

I honestly don't even feel like my income justifies a $10K CL. I may ask for one but honestly I'm perfectly happy with $10K. Plus I may app for a card with airline rewards in the next year or so.

What makes them want to give you a CLI anyway? I tried with Citi recently and they denied me.

what is your standard purchase apr on bce? mine and smc733 is 10.24 pecent. only one person on here has mentioned lower rate at 7.74 percent. i am still waiting for someone else to mention close, same or below what i have.

That's super low! I'd be happy with the 17% at this point. OK, I'm lying. I'd be ecstatic to get 10%...hahaha.

I'll have to admit that I have few ideas as to how AMEX decides to give out CLI, or even approvals for that matter...

But AMEX does seem to be generous with CLIs, at least here at MyFICO a lot of people have reported CLI success at day 61, even if they didn't get 3X they still recieved something.
