AMEX just blew my mind!

So I have been waiting two weeks for a refund from a merchant, as I have returned the item but I was never issued a refund.

I decided to file an inquiry on the AMEX website. I filled in the tracking number and RMA number.

Bam! Submitted. Then I look in my "inquiries" and notice that that exact inquiry I submitted a couple seconds ago was already completed and ruled in my favor!

Very, very, very shocking and surprising to me.

Discover took me 8 weeks to get a refund in the same scenario! I also told my dad about this since he believes Discover is so much better than AMEX Smiley Tongue

AMEX has been known for that for so many years.

Yes Amex is known to take care of their customers pronto with matters like this.   Part of their "benefits".  They won't always side with you, but more-so than other lenders, etc.

Yes. Amex's good in this area.

I was charged X2 for taxes by BestBuy when I purchased my phone and they won't refund me (shame!!! bestbuy). Amex took care of that easily!

Well what scores do you have right now?

I was approved for my AMEX right when I turned 18, with only some AU history. (CS around low 700s)
