Thank you at the failed attempt to burst my bubble......(just kidding!) but I will be the judge of that next month when I check my credit report. I just called AMEX and asked. The super friendly agent told me that my accounts will be reported with the 1990 year. My dad must still have the same account or something. I won't speculate and I did not want to ask more. But I am going to believe the agent over my peeps....Smiley Very Happy

I will keep you all posted to see what the real deal is!! Thanks!

Re: AMEX member since YEAR

I think I posted something like this last year.... Trust me they don't backdate.  My online says member since 97, my PRG and Delta say 2014 but my ED says 97.  The only one I care about ( The CB ) say 2014.  When it comes to trusting customer service or the people of myfico.... That is not even close.  People here know what there talking about.

Amex Gold / Amex Platinum / Amex Marriott Brilliant/ Amex BCP/ Capital One Venture (AU) / Capital One Savor One/ Discover / NFCU Cash Rewards / BOA Unlimited Cash Rewards / NFCU GO Rewards (AU) / Amex EDP / NFCU Flagship Rewards / Chase Freedom (AU) / Capital One QuickSilver / Citi Costco (AU) / Amex Delta

Re: AMEX member since YEAR

But wait... OP knows best. Lol. AmEx reps are some of the worst. But, by all means OP, trust the rep over us that actually KNOW Smiley Happy
While you're at it apply for a CLI online then tell the rep you did it online and they'll tell you that you can try over the phone too because it's different (yes. I've had one tell me that)
