No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
When you log in, you should click view all cards. Then on the next screen it should be over to the upper right and you'll have to sign in again.
Thanks for trying to help! In the upper right, I only have these options:
Additional products & services
Explore your card benefits (Zync card thumbnail)
Not your cards
I think it's pretty safe to say that I don't have the option for whatever reason. I was pretty shocked that I got the Zync when I did, so I've not wanted to call to ask anyone for fear that it would draw attention to me and my little acct. I'll just keep my account in stealth mode for now. The plan is to get myself in position for the BCP and then go for that one next year, but I was wanting to use this feature to determine when I'm close enough.
I wonder if this is their way of saying "you're not even close enough to look" LOL
What do you have next to View All Cards?
That is the page that takes me to where I am referring. I am not a member yet, so I use the button on the left. There it asks for some brief info.
Thanks for the view.
On the Expand Your Membership page, I have "Refer Friends & Earn Points." I've never seen that option (edited: "PreApproved For You) when I log in.
Interesting...

How about where it says, "see your card offers" like in Cain's screenshot above?
There are 2 main differences between the 2 screenshots:
1) Cain is using a Mobile Device (looks to be an iPhone); while clocktick is using a computer.
2) The AmEx website still recognizes that clocktick is using the same computer, from being signed in previously.
Item 1 above however; doesn't make a bit of difference, in this case. I am able to see the screen both ways; on both the computer; as well as the iPhone; based on how I manipulate the cookies on the computer of iPhone.
Item 2; is the key to the discrepancy.
When you sign in, a "cookie" is added to your computer. That way; the website doesn't have to re-authenticate every time you click a link, when signed in.
Even though clocktick has signed out, the website still recognizes the cookie identifying clocktick as an account owner is there, and determines that it's likely clocktick re-visiting the website. At that point, the person viewing the website on the same computer that clocktick used, is shown a different screen, optimized for the account owner that was last signed into the accont.
The "pre-approved for you" tab will only show up if the AmEx website recognizes you.
Another example of how this works; when I view all cards (it doesn't matter if I'm signed in, or not), I do not see the Mercedes Benz AmEx (since I already have the card in my account profile). However; when I delete the cookies, I can see it; if I have not signed in yet. Once I sign in, I can no longer see the Mercedez Benz card.
