Did they feed you that BS line about if your limit was good enough?
I'm happy yet sad for you all at once Appbar
At least now you can join the garden and let your accounts age together, you have a good selection if I remember correctly. Grab the anti-app-itch on your way in the gate btw
Djrez4; the frowny face is because we nicknamed him "appbar" a while back due to serious app'ing or multiple posts of the possibility. Even changed his nick to appbar for a while but that was reversed. He almost left the forum he got so many negative responses, but several of us preferred he stayed and kept learning as well as sharing info (he does share some good info at times).
I ran across the "appbar" thread a while back and had a small clue as to what was going on.
That still doesn't change the fact that I've never seen anyone be depressed about an approval before.
Someone should start a new support group - Appaholics Anonymous.

I can at least get rid of one card my cap1 and replace it and maybe even zync now....
Afbar! If you have Zync, don't ditch it yet, let it age a while (even if you got the HL). It's no longer offered as I'm sure you've read and it does you no harm with AMEX to hold on to it for a while (you usually want to keep an AMEX card 16 months for them to consider you a full "member since date qualified" member). Just for vanity sake, I have to say I still think it's one of the best looking cards AMEX has ever issued (and few people have a clue what it is LOL).
thanks all. i am glad i can finally get rid of at least 1 cap1 card. i was glad to get a "major" credit card starting over 1k finally. always started at $500. i can say i fianlly feel achompolished at my credit.
Congrats i have read many of your post and i just want to say i am proud of you. Discover will definitely grow with you.
yea i think i am happy. i am going to start trimimng som cards starting with one of my CAP1's its a small bal but it will force me to pay it if i transfer it because i tend to pay more towards my "prime" cards first. i am going to trim my BBY card at some point as i no longer see an use for it since it will never ever move from the $1k limit.
