AU Question.

I just added my wife to my Citi credit card.

It does not ask for her SS or anything just name on card.

How will they report this to the CRs if they don't have her SS or DOB?

They will likely match it by her name and address listed on the account. That's what they did for my family when I added them to my Shell/Citibank card!

Awesome to hear that, I have been using the search button, and it seems to be that way.

I will wait for the card and upon activation, I will call and ask about it reporting.

Re: AU Question.

Yep...I added my DH to Discover last month and they didn't am for any vitals. The issuing of his card did generate a mid-cycle report to all 3 CB's.

Re: AU Question. *UPDATED*

I went ahead and called CITI,

He asked for her SS Thursday. Today on CreditKarma, she has new account added from citi that is opened in 03/2011.

I hope it reported to all 3.

Her UTIL drops by 37% lol it is now sitting at 27%

NOTE: no she does not have my card, just AU to help her out. I also got all her credit cards in safe keeping while she is paying it down.

Re: AU Question. *UPDATED*

My question along this same line....   how does the c/c company find the AU I added to my card if the address is different than mine?  Do they typically call if they are unsure to ask for the SS#?  So far they've only called me to confirm I added this person and to let me know the card has been sent out.
