Re: Adorama ( Commenity ) no more

Hi @NC84, sorry to hear about Adorama card. At least it helped you in improving your credit. With the economy so bad and stores like JC Penny going out of business we can see many more down turns in the credit market. All the best.

It's now called the Adorama Edge Credit Card - https://www.adorama.com/g/adorama-credit

"Adorama Edge Credit Card, issued by Synchrony Bank.”

It looks OK, but for me, I think B&H Payboo beats it. In Texas, we pay 8.25% sales tax from both companies. So getting all of the salaes tax refunded makes more sense. BUT, Adorama is still offering 0% interest financing, so I guess that's a fair compromise if you need to carry a blance for a large purchase.

For large purchases and 0% I still just use my PayPal line. It's not hidden anymore, but it has 6 months and sometimes longer for larger purchases. Same bank, different line.

Re: Adorama ( Commenity ) no more

I got an ITA email from Adorama for the new Adorama Edge card.  5% off,  or instead choose 6 mo/12 mo special financing for purchases of over $199/$800.    Purchase APR is 29.99%.    Hard pass.

That's ridiculous. It's still not fair that some of us have a hard inquiry that will last longer than our adorama card. Smh
