Interesting, but I'm sorry I don't agree.
some of these banks seem to be using a computer to CLD accounts at random almost.
GE has been huge on this, they CLD ebay card that has been open for like 2 years but didn't touch Dillards that has been open for only 6 months.
Ebay practically never gets used.
Dillards gets maxed out every month.
So did they CLD because they felt we didn't need the CL anyway?
I would think they would CLD because they felt you were in to deep and maxing a card out regularly would possibly display that.

You silly. In this economy the banks are just doing CLD randomly you can't really say or prove why or for what reason.

These are probably some of the causes for the other AA(alcoholics anonymous)
- Who your mortgage holder is.
- Which stores you shop at, amex's "experience with others that shop where you shop"
- Which state you live in (the ones with the realestate that has dropped a lot.
- Balances on other cards and how fast you pay them down.
- Change in purchasing, did you use it a lot, now you stopped, you must be having financial difficulty.
- Number of inq, you must be desperate for credit, you must have financial difficulty
- What industry you work in (housing construction, finance)

I think #12 and #8 are probably very very significant factors in AA. I am a teacher and I live in SC with no AA. How about those with AA Where do you live and what do you do?
