Is it possible to see which categories are being offered on the website or through online banking? I am having no luck and I just got the cash rewards card.

I think after this coming quarter we will get an email sometime in March to get the next quarter's awards and so on. We just joined too late to get the email this time around.

It gets updated early in Jan. Some people said ~Jan 10th.

If we wait 10 days after another quarter, then I think they need to readjust how they do share quarter rewards. That's basically 10 days gone wondering what the rewards are.

They send you an email before the quarter starts. You don't have to waste any days. Its just that the website is getting updated late

I received an email today saying that the Q1 5% categories are gas (+2%->7%), cable/sat (+2% ->7%), mobile (+1%->6%).

It would be nice if they would send it before starting the quarter to be able to set the categories of the rotating cards like Cash+ properly.

Verizon gives discount if using autopay by debit card (no credit card except Verizon CC). Is it feasible to get both autopay and 6% Affinity discounts, if I pay my monthly with PPK-Affinity CR card?

Great. To simplify bill payments, I put them all on PPK and if I want to pay one bill with another card, I mark it in my calendar and switch the PPK card a few days before. I see how it goes in this quarter and whether they get coded correctly.

Looks like they're pretty generous with the cable/satellite category.  It also includes streaming services.

First notification of upcoming Q1 2022 Hi5 Categories was announced in the Dec 14 Bonus Rewards email. The email subject "The New Year Is About To Get Waaaay More Rewarding!" You may have just overlooked it?

Affinity has its act together; at least this has been my experience thus far. Can't say that for a lot of small local/regional banks & credit unions but AFCU, definitely. Even sent out a blast email today notifying members of short staffing due to omicron and how best to get support if needed. Of course, YEMV.
