Affinity FCU 1st quarter Hi5 bonus cats released

I got this card a few days before the end of the year and the first email on Hi5 arrived today morning.

It looks like we should monitor emails to check categories and announcements, instead of its website

Is there any way of knowing what the categories will be ahead of time?

They usually don't say until just before the new quarter. They usually send an email but I don't think I got anything this time around. I had been waiting & checking too.

It should show up near the end of this month.

Thanks, wish I could know ahead of time to plan minimum spend for the bonus/when to get it, but I guess it's such a good card it's worth it

I am happy I can finally join in and contribute to discussion.  So glad it's a visa, that way I can use it for gas at Costco.  I was just approved for this card today.  Does any one have dp's on how long until they received their card?

Does this apply to the Affinity FCU "Cash Rewards Visa Signature" credit card?

I couldn't find any information regarding this quarter's 5% rotating categories on the AFCU website. It is only saying: 

Earn everyday points using your Cash Rewards Visa Signature card for everyday purchases!

5% Cash back at all bookstores, including Amazon

2% Cash back at all supermarkets, restaurants, gas stations

1% Cash back on everything else
