After getting cards paid off...

So getting a few cards paid off that have been almost maxed for about 6mos.

How long would it take for a company like say Capital One, Merrit, Discover It to possibly offer another cli if any?

Depends....  Let the updated UTIL report and then wait for each of them to update your SP data.  Cap1 every 6 months, Disco can be every day if you wanted to, not sure about Merritt.

Cap1 wants 3 months of high usage and payments, but have been known to give a CLI right after paying off a card. Disco has been known to also throw a CLI after paying off a card within a month or two.

It really depends on your overall credit profile, not just UT.
