Aftermath of 11 new accounts since Feb!

My scores finally took a big drop. I was expecting it. I'm guessing withing a few months they should start to go back up. There are 2 cards I left a good balance report on last month. I will pay them off this month. Oh well, at least I know what new credit and a balance can do to me. Even better to know how to get it to move back up fast. 25-30 point drops on each CBR.

DW and I are kind of in the same boat...we did our "opening spree" after Thanksgiving of 2013.  We've got no new accounts in 2014, and HER scores are starting to recover...mine, not so much yet...but it will happen.  Smiley Happy

25-30 points is actually not too bad for 11 new accounts.  The 'norm' is usually minus 3-5 points for each new INQ and TL, so you score could have sunk 50+ points.

I went on a similar run in March (8 new TL's) and am now feeling the full weight of the spree.  I'm not too worried though; no plans to apply for anything else for at least 12+ months.  As long as my scores come back by this time next year, I'm content to just putz around in the garden! Smiley Tongue

I feel it too.  I added about 19 accounts since July 2013.  TU went from 727-707, EX went from 714 - 680, and EQ went from 686 - 670.  Overall, not bad since I have everything that I need at the moment.  I still have 3 baddies on EX which fall off in January 2015 and 1 on EQ and TU which fall off in December 2014.  I believe by January 2015, I'll be sitting pretty good.
