Amex cards have different age requirements some are as low as 15 yrs old.
i believe its 15 for charge and 18 for revolvers.
I've added my 12 YOD on several cards. She's on a BofA, Cap 1 and a Citi card. Not sure about amex.

I think it depends on the lender.
When I added an AU to my Amex PRG not too long ago, the T&C stated that the AU had to be at least 15 years old.
However, they're probably not going to bother verifying...
Why do you think there are 18 year-old college freshmen with 17 year credit histories?
i want to know also. i want my son to have good credit by the time hes out of college so i dont have to co sign hes only 14.
