Approved for the CC and the overdraft LOC. I asked for 10k on the overdraft loc and I dont know the limit on the card yet but Im happy Their Overdraft LOC works like a regular LOC I assume? I see a lot of people on here going for it so I think its a safe assumption it isnt like a regular overdraft where you pay it up within 30 days, 10k may be hard to pay back that fast Score on EQ is my lowest at 680, TU is 710 and EX is ?? I do have to send in a bank statement and 2 pay stubs for the LOC

GoingTo800 - congrats!  Love to hear these stories about NFCU.  I'm joining this week and am super excited.  Did you set up a checking and Direct Deposit as well?

I also want to app for the CC and LOC - may I ask what your income is that allowed you to get approved for 10k on the overdraft LOC?

Thanks! My income is about $62,000 a year. I figured Id ask for 10 and ask for a increase to 15 in 6 months

Awesome - I've read in these forums that the LOC reports to all 3 CRA's as a revolving line of credit so it will greatly help with your overall util %.  Hope you get a great CL on the CC.  Which one did you app for?

I apped for the cash rewards card, those are always easiest for me to manage as far as redeeming

Is this just a regular LOC that is linked to your account for overdraft protection?  I can't imagine there are many people that need 10k solely in overdraft protection.  If you have a $10,000 oversight in your monthly budgeting, you're doing something wrong! lol!

Little frustrated... I just found out via secure message my CC limit is 5k........ Thats actually one of my lowest.... Most are 6500-7500. I have a 8.5 year old bk and no other baddies. Util is about 20% AAoA 6 years

I was hoping you'd get 10-15k on the CC ... wonder if the BK affected the initial CL.  Do you know if you're able to call NFCU and request they bump up the starting CL on the CC?

I wouldn't worry too much about the starting limit on CC. Sit tight for 6 mos and then ask for a cli
