Thanks All !
Apply for the PayPal Extras mastercard, it hooks directly in with your Paypal account so if you have money in the paypal account(from ebay sales like me) you can apply it directly to the extras card and it reflects on your available credit immediately. When I got approved I think my score was like ~650
Still takes a few days for the balance to update, but still its nice to see an instant impact and more available credit.
They have been having some pretty good rewards stuff going on with the paypal card, I get emails where its like " hey, activate this offer and use your card at least once and you get a $10 statement credit" .
If you cant get approved for that try paypal buyer credit (used to be bill-me-later).
You can also try the newegg preferred card, now the newegg preferred and paypal buyer credit dont report anything to the CB's unless your late. So the limits wont show and it wont show as a tradeline.
Oh, and if you want both the extras mastercard and paypal buyer credit you need two separate paypal accounts. You would need a third if you wanted the ebay mastercard.
I often wondered if someone would actually dare to get all three(BML, Extras Mastercard, and Ebay) and go to the trouble of creating 3 different accounts. Also, if Paypal would see this as a problem once caught, albeit allowed.
I dunno about all three but you definitely can have both BML and PP SC as log as they're linked to different email accounts.
I have 3 paypals, I think I tried applying for the ebay card but I dont remember. Oh well, doesn't hurt to try again since inquiries stopped hurting me.
Would be pretty funny if they approved me. lol

Yeah, I have two paypal accounts. 1 for Paypal Credit(formerly Bill Me Later) and another for Paypal Extras Mastercard. I might just be that Daredevil and create a third for the Ebay Mastercard. Hehe. It's essenitally the same card as Paypal, but hey, more GE limits for me! Would be great to get $5,000.

That's why I'm so very appreciative for members on this forum...not only do they supply us with knowledge via data points, but they often stop me from myself. LOL
Thanks for taking that hit.

Happy to oblige lol but I dont think it checked my credit since it pretty much stopped the application.
I think I did this like 3 months ago and didnt get an inq then either.
Good ol syncony bank, I know they would approve me if they would just let me go ahead and have that ebay card haha
If you're looking at the Amazon Visa, Sallie Mae may be a better option. 5% cash back on the first $750 spent per month vs. 3% back for the Amazon card.
