So Amazon just decided to make Amazon Fresh be free with Prime membership instead of charging $15 a month for it. I was curious if Fresh codes as grocery on BCP? With the winter, this is an option I may have to use. It's also not a terribly unreasonable option from a pricing standpoint. Prices on most things are comparable to King Soopers (CO Kroger) -- fresh produce is a bit more though.
Yes it does. I've used it quite a lot.
Except the tip is 1% since it's not consider groceries and they charged it separately from your grocery bill.

Awesome, thanks for sharing, shoegal! I actually went ahead and placed an order last night because of the storms here so I'm glad to hear I'll go towards that 6% cap. ![]()
tip only 1%? you don't have to tip more when you open the door?
very tempting!

Great! I am in the same boat and it is awesome to hear the newly free Amazon Fresh would qualify.
My only fear is, Prime price might go up!

I think she meant the tip portion only earns 1%.
You actually don't have to tip at all if you don't want to. There are two options for delivery - leave on the porch unattended and attended at the door - a lot of people don't tip for unattended delivery.
Also if you do want to tip, tip them at the door because Amazon eats some of your tip if you do it on the order. They basically shift how much they pay them down and use the tip for their base pay.
Amazon needs to be careful here. If prime gets more expensive, I will stop annual membership and do month by month, and only use it 6 out of 12 months a year.

I doubt Prime will go up. People have actually been canceling Prime with the heavy competition from Target. Amazon making grocery delivery free puts Target in a rough position since they charge a membership fee for Shipt.

Yep. My roommate and I share my Amazon account but I'm the one who pays for it so I was thinking about canceling it this year. They actually hit my card for the $122 and change the other day and I was debating calling them about it but I will keep it for another year now that they added to it.

I don't open the door lol
They dropped it off without bothering you.
Edit: I was referring to the card reward being 1% for tipping the driver rather than 6%.
