First, my apologies if this has been covered already..
With the late fee structure changing on Amex charge cards effective this month, I noticed one other thing on my last statement..
The due date has changed. Previously, I had been due o the 4th. My new due date, starting with the December statement is the 14th.. has anyone else noticed this?
From what I have heard, on their charge cards Amex has replaced the Please Pay By date with a hard date similar to their credit cards.

I did not get a new due date on my December statement, but I will be interested to see if my January one is any different....

Yes has been discussed so you probably missed it. As noted above, all the charges cards now will have due dates instead of please pay by the dates. They sent out notices back in early December and some of the statements included the new info.
Overall it will make it much simpler to know when you need to make your payment.

Your new due dates will be on the calendar date 5 days earlier then your statement date. So if your statement cuts on January 10th, your due date will be Feb 5th
I can provide a timely data point here...
Just this morning I did a chat with an Amex CSR and had my due date changed on my PRG. It was easy-peasy, and only took a couple of minutes.
My new due date is the same as my BCP and Delta Gold to keep things simple.
Pooka89, if you see this post give your people kudos for me... the rep I got was fantastic.
