American Eagle Visa

First thing's first, I did declare myself to be in the garden. I went to American Eagle to exchange a couple of things, the associate asked me if I wanted to see if I was eligible for the AE Visa (at the time I had a $300 AE Store CC), I asked if it would've been a hard pull, she asked what I meant so I laughed and said nevermind and that I'd do it. The screen then asked for my SSN and income (at first I thought it would've been a soft pull. I was unaware that PC's were hard pulls). Like 10 seconds later, my receipt printed and she said that I was approved for the VISA for $2300. So in two days, my CL's went from $600 to $4100. Not bad huh?

I now have no reason to apply for anything else, unless of course I get a pre approval from Amex later in the year. I mean it this time, I'm done for now lol.

Re: American Eagle Visa

Thank you Smiley Happy And yes, I can say I officially am. I was surprised when the associate asked if I was interested in seeing if I was eligible, and I really thought they would've soft pulled, but when she said to enter my SSN and income, I knew I'd get hard pulled. I was hesistant to enter in my info, but since I had already told her yes, I figured I'd just go with it. So yes, I am now done.  Most of my INQS on each report will fall off by september, so at least until September, no more apps.

I've had the AE store card since the end of the September, no late payments. Was eligible for one CLI. I was just as surprised as you are lol

Haha thank you. If your sister doesn't mind the hard pull, I'm sure she can call up customer service and ask them to consider her for the VISA (granted her account is in good standing) and I'm sure she has a much higher income than I do, so she should have no problem getting approved. Let her know I said good luck.

Re: American Eagle Visa

ummm... If like other GE Cards (I have experience for Chevron) if it's not specifically offered which I believe ONLY comes in the form of you logging into your account online or possibly on the phone calling in on your account, not at store... if you apply you may have this fantastic outcome of a nice new visa with a much larger credit line but it has nothing to do with your current store card and unlike when you do an upgrade and it opens a new line and closes the old, you most likely ended up with 2 here.
