this 1.99% is perfect timing - i had a $6k purchase coming up that i am putting on the Amex - now i dont have to get it paid off in 1 month - i am fine taking 3 or 4 months at 1.99
we'll see. I guess the statement will help determine that. It does make me wonder why they would say that APR when past threads on here says they don't do it. /shrug

Also, keep in mind that even if it's lowered, it's nothing permanent in the sense that it's still a variable rate and will go up when interest rates go up, such as the case when the Feds recently announced several rate hikes are possible throughout this year 🤷♂️
