I've used this offer atleast 3 times in the past and this link worked for me.

I even signed up for another amazon account and used the promo with the same amex card. I bought $1000 worth of hotels.com GC's for an upcoming trip.

But it says the "maximum benefit you may receive from this offer is $100", which would be a 20% discount off $500. Did you get more than $100 off your $1000 in gift cards?

Ah. I have two amazon accounts too but one account said I wasn't eligible. That's OK, I wasn't looking to spend a grand at Amazon.

Thanks for the heads-up; for Prime day the offer worked on both of my accounts (business and personal) but this time it's only working on the one that used to be designated for business.
