Amex 3x CLI Question

Received BCE today and decided to go for 3x cli that so many have reported success with...got the 7-10 day message, I assume this means denial?

Not always but most likely a denial

Most likely, sorry to say.  Whenever I get 7-10 on CLI request it has been denial.

Never received a 7-10 day regards to CLI but I have gotten that message when app'ng, even with AMEX, and was approved. So take it fwiw. Good luck.

every time i got that from them it's a denial. you'll receive your letter next week

@Irish80 stated, it can swing either way.  People have reported getting the 7 day message and then getting a CLI.

while i agree with you and irish, since they tightened the reigns some it's been way less frequent.

I should have just put in 2x CLI, oh well, it's not that I need the 3x CLI as my util is 6% across the board, would still be nice tho

the 2x CLI would have been the same answer. they counter-offer you if you're eligible
