@longtimelurker: Getting another card side steps the 35k "limit" until you request another CLI.
35k is the magic number used as the upper limit for "pay over time" charges on the charge cards, and also in Amex's SEC filings about debt collateralization.
So do you know 35K is a limit before getting a 4506 because you have someone you know working for Amex credit analysis dept? If you don't know someone at Amex you stating this based on a very small sample size whether it be on here or other forums.
Another based on your 35K total exposure if I get another card they will instantly ask for a 4506? I have 31k with the EDP. Looking at the BCP I would almost guarantee I will get approved for over 4k.
