So we know amex uses the Fico 08 EX score sold here, does not appear to be the bankcard enhanced version..What kind ofEx is needed to get the top tier revolovers? Mercedes Blue, Costco, BCP, SPG? I know from personal experience the Delta Gold I got with a 672 EX 1k 61 day cli denied, I was denied everytime for the blue with the ame score..My sister just got the BCE with a 639 ex score! crazy...

I beleive they use ex08 with their own internal scoring system. As far as what your score needs to be not sure. I just got approved for EDP with ex 08 around 790 give or take an few points.
with a 790 you should be able to get anything and everything you want, no questions asked...

I did apply for BCP with high 600s ex fico before , but got an puny initial CL , this time i wanted to make sure i had an decent CL
did the bcp grow with you over time?

it went from 1k to 9k in an year , i may move some of the CL to my new EDP
i got a delta amex gold with a 635 ex, 1k limit, been denied 2 times now for a cli at 65 days and 200 days. tried for a bce and was denied for fico too low same reason for cli
Adding my experience: I was just approved with a EX score 804 from when I last bought my score here about 5 months ago. Score as shown on CreditKarma 756, score as shown on AMEX Ex 846 that came with my card this month.
I suppose limit would be based on income, but those are my scores. I hope to update them around Christmastime or New Years ( I hate paying for scores)

Credit Royalty.
There's a concept!
On an on-topic note however.
I've had an AMEX Blue Sky Preferred since 2008, Score then was probably just over 700 EX. Don't remember well enough to be exact.
Kept the card with no AA or CLD through the credit crunch even when my scores dipped down into the 500's.
My newest approvals were with an EX FICO of 674, though I suspect my 6 year relationship with them helped.
